40"x30" This is not a good picture of it but is good as I could

For some reason this came to mind when I painted this.

I bought this teapot when I was 18 years old because I just

fell in love with it. It has spent the last 10 years or more in a trunk.

My husband found it the other day and it felt like seeing an old friend.

This is one painting that I couldn't seem to get the colors just right so this

will have to do...

I found this treasure. Hidden on the shelf among other discarded

wares I found it The Glass Teapot. It was so unique.

It is not very big but is very cute and I really am the

proud owner. You will see more post in the future featuring

I'm a little teapot short and stout, here's my handle here's my spout.

BUT today I am holding a beautiful boquet of flowers.

Flowers found along the side of a country dirt road. A country

 leading to my mama's house.

While painting this I met a few frustrations with not only color choice but

brush work which ended up kinda loose and everywhere.

Oh Well! Sometimes you have to break the rules.

Thrift store finds are best of all. Sometimes they are cracked, but cracks add

character if it is something you want to keep. Sometimes you can imagine

how much these things were valued by their owners and why they were

discarded. But if they were not sent to the thrift store that would not have ended

up in this painting, this painting of the little blue cup.
