Olive Quackers by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Olive Quackers by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
Everytime we go to the thrift store my daughter is amazed at the junk I find. Like this little cup with green flowers and the little duck. These olives are starting to dry out a little but I figured I could get one more painting out of them. I painted this with a lot of greys and it was harder than it looks.

Another painting with grapes. This has been really fun so far. I sent my daughter to the store and she bought me grapes, strawberries, and melon. This might just keep me busy for a little while.

Happiness Has Found Me by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Happiness Has Found Me by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
I have had these angels for several years and have painted them a few times. If I changed anything about this painting it would be the cups I guess however I love the clear bottle and the soft shadows.

Christmas Things by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Christmas Things by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
Once again I could not resist this little snowman. It is not something I would have bought myself but a friend who knows me better than I bought it for me. It is so unique and just has that Charlie Brown Christmas tree appeal. I am really trying to work on my skills and painting a little differently giving more concious thought to the detail. This is a 8x10 oil still life on canvas panel. It is for sale for $80 just contact me to purchase

A small pumpkin painting. I don't know why I can't resist painting these strange vegetables.
I love their smooth orange skins.

Little Green Bottle by Angela Sullivan

Little Green Bottle by Angela Sullivan
My sister gave me this little green bottle a while back. I was searching for something to paint and came across this. I intentionally wanted to add a touch of red and ended up with more than a touch.

Lily Blossom by Angela Sullivan

Lily Blossom by Angela Sullivan
I find myself trying to get out of this cup. I know I know I should be happy just sitting here
in just the right amount of water to keep me fresh and crisp. But isn't it true that we are never happy
with where we are. The grass is greener on the other side of the fence. Right?

My Kitchen Towel by Angela Sullivan

My Kitchen Towel by Angela Sullivan
One day there were three oranges in a bowl on the counter. Actually we had been there a while just kinda
drying out. We were neglected and alone. She walked by and flipped on a light and wouldn't you know that at that very moment a glimmer of light hit us just like a spotlight. With a slight crooked smile her gaze caught ours and it was love at second site. She gently picked us up careful not to drop us. She carried us away and placed us on this beautiful kitchen towel. This is where we belonged all along.

Pins and Needles by Angela Sullivan

Pins and Needles by Angela Sullivan
I am a tomato half hidden in the shadows. I am lying in wait just biding my time till I am needed.
You see that pin laying there on the table. Well that is my weapon. I may seem weak but I am deadly when I need to be but honestly most can be taken down with one little jab to the eye. Ok actually this is my day off so all is safe.

Red White and by Angela Sullivan

Red White and     by Angela Sullivan
A cup...just a simple cup that is what I look like. Not so I say...I am the watcher of the tomato. You would
probley think that no one would want him but in actuality he is in high demand. All little old ladies would
give her right arm for one like him. I will just stay right here and make sure that he stays safe at all times.
