Little Blue Flowers by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Little Blue Flowers by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
I painted this a while back at one of my workshops. It was simpler and I was just not quite satisfied with it. I added the vase of flowers and the little blue flowers to the right and also the lemon wedge. I like it much better now. 16x20 oil on gallery wrapped canvas.

Red White and by Angela Sullivan

Red White and     by Angela Sullivan
A cup...just a simple cup that is what I look like. Not so I say...I am the watcher of the tomato. You would
probley think that no one would want him but in actuality he is in high demand. All little old ladies would
give her right arm for one like him. I will just stay right here and make sure that he stays safe at all times.

Feelers

Feelers
What a name? I am laughing but that is what all those cherry stems reminded me of.
I was practicing color here with a limited palette. I read some instruction from artist Carol Marine and tried
to apply some of what she said. I think I will try it again. I mixed my own grays.
I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.

I Escaped

I Escaped
Look at that delicious pie. Sweet and tart just like grandma used to make. Guess what?
I am sitting her saying this only because I am so clever. Yep...I got away, I escaped. Right when they
were reaching for me I rolled right off in the floor and hid under the table. I snuggled up real close to the leg
and then I smelled that wonderful aroma and knew that I was safe. A hand picked me up and placed me
right back on the table so near that piece of pie that I can still feel the warm heat from the oven. Almost seems as though I am goodying them. Well I kinda am goodying them. So glad that I escaped and
will be around to tell this incredible story to my grandchildren. Oh no....Oh no....tell me it ain't so they are
coming back to get me. She is licking her lips and she ain't looking at that pie. Here I go again.
Splat I am on the floor again.....Give me a little hand how bout you say a little prayer for me right now. I might not be so lucky next time..............

I Said It Is Red

I Said It Is Red
I just attended a workshop In Birmingham at Alabama Art Supply. The
artist was Amy P Collins
I had such fun. This is a 5x7 oil on panel board.
Love the juicy red of the pear. It really is bright and delicious. She had us paint the
panels black before painting. Loved it.
