As an artist it is our decision when we choose to change the perspective or color or to add or

leave something out. My daughter just bought a new home and wants me to paint her a series of

coffee cups from places she has been. She is retiring from the Marines and will be close to me for the

first time in a long long time.

8x8 oil on canvas panel. Just thought would share my inspiration.

Found this photo on wet canvas and loved it. I changed it of course.

I am so pleased with it. The colors are beautiful... a little richer than I was able to produce

on my computer but a pretty good reference of it.

A small boat sets in an harbor secured by it's anchor.

It has withstood high seas and rain,

days of sunshine and scorching heat,

Multiple owners have used it oars but to all

it has remained sure and true.
