You Were Almost Mine

I found this little creature for sale at our local ROSS store. He was

a little metal owl sitting on a limb. It was love at first sight but what would I do with 

something like that? Soooo... I whipped out my iphone and took pictures and now

you get to see him. See why I loved him. He was just so cute.

Hungry and waiting for worms these two

chicklets are loud and impatient. Mom will soon fly down

to earth hunt for food and drop juicy treats into their wide open mouths.

I am here not bothered by a care in the world. I stand here

on skinny legs, for hours at a time I wait , I wait, a fish will

surely pass by soon but until then I wait.

Boy! am I getting hungry.
