Playing dress up.....

Kenley is 3 years old and has 3 older sisters and 4 girl cousins.
Her cousin Colton has 2 older brothers.......and is 3 years old...

They have become the best of friends and Colton is experiencing his feminine side.

and they are loving playing dress up together.

Won't he love seeing these photos when he is 17 yr. old!

Quiet before the joyful storm.....

The kids arrive today for their Easter break.....

Today, 7 arrive......tomorrow another 4.....Saturday another 3.......

The painting I did of each of their angels is placed by their bed.....

along with little presents to welcome them home.....

Kenley gets her own big girl bed this year.....

Aidan's Angel Painting....

Games are laid out and ready for action.....They will arrive...run through the gates...down the stone stairs and onto the beach...first thing.  There will be hoops of laughter and cries of discovery....then with feet flying they will head over to see their boy cousins....Life's joy!!

Whispers of memories.......

The first morning after everyone has gone is always the strangest.
I wander around and through the rooms and find only memories scattered and left behind. Memories..... and piles of laundry. :)
I think that tears are nature's release valve for a love and gratitude that just is so immense that it can't be contained within one small human heart.
