George Steinmetz is beyond words, as only the very best nature photographers can be. So I will say no more other than to say check it out.
The picture above is an American clear cut, where they have left a thin strip of trees along the road so that folks driving through the countryside will think the woods are still there.
But they are not; it's all a lie. Again.
